ILLUSIONS AND TRICKS

This is a really bizarre optical illusion
This image is known as the Cafe Wall Illusion. It was first observed and reported by Dr. Richard Gregory. He noticed the strange effect in the tiling on the walls of a cafe.

When you look at this image you cannot help, but to see differences in the height of the lines. This is not the case. All rows in this image are the same width!

Here is another really strange optical illusion
The lines in this image seem to go blurry and to move while in fact all the lines are perfectly straight and there is no movement at all.

When you look at this image you cannot help but to see the lines move and go in and out of focus. Scroll the page up and down while looking at the image and you may see four inner squares that seem to appear and jiggle back and forth.

Here is another really strange afterimage optical illusion
This optical illusion is from the 1920s.

Stare at the "x" in the yorick skull's left eye for 30 seconds. Try no to blink.
Next turn your gaze to a white sheet of paper, wall, or similar surface and stare for about 30 seconds. You may be surprised by the image that appears before your eyes!

How Many faces can you find?

Do you see a duck or rabbit?

The watermelons look as if they are moving, in reality they are not.

How Many Legs does this elephant have?
