STROLLING THE PIER

Acrylic on Canvas, 18x24, After painting in the skyline, water and Pier, I got stuck not knowing what to do with the foreground, so I had to step away from it for a couple of month.

Then one day last week I decided to add the fisherman, couple of days later, the idea of a family walking the pier seemed like a good idea and the figure in the distance was added just to help with perspective.
That is supposed to be a full moon rising and the light coming in from the left side of the painting, being reflected from a setting sun that is out of view. Not sure how well this I achieve what I was aiming for but I am generally pleased with the overall composition.
