Soon the holiday season will be upon us. I find it ironic that this is the time of year cookies, cakes and pies are in full abundance, but so are party dresses that you want to look smashing in.

As with most things Herve Leger, I think this one should come with a label marked: looks best on goddesses. Normally, I'm not big on sequins, but these aren't Vegas showgirl sequins. Because the dark color is on top and fades into lighter shades as you move down the dress, this style is better suited to those women who are slim of hip.
